Before I joined The Master Tiling School I was working in printing which was a dying trade that I wanted to get out of quickly. I decided that tiling was the right trade for me to choose as it is constantly in demand.

I found The Master Tiling School online after looking round for somewhere that I could get training that would give me the right skills to work as a tile fixer.

I live in Northamptonshire and stayed in Essex while I did my course as I knew it was better for me to get professional training rather than choosing a school closer to home and not leaving with the right skills.

I did and 8 week course and moved back home as soon as I completed my training, where I spent a year working on site as a sub contractor. I now run my own company, LBL Tiling Services, with a friend of mine and we have a contract with the local council tiling new houses.

Changing my career to become a tile fixer was the best decision I have ever made. I am now NVQ qualified to level 3 and never go home and the end of the day thinking that I need a new challenge.
